The 2010 State WESAR Training will be held in Tacoma and the subject will be Urban Search and Rescue Skills. We will be covering all aspects of searching the urban environment including:

• The Basic Principles of Urban Searching
• Team Leadership for the Urban Mission
• Knowledge of Safety Considerations Related to Urban Searches
• Review of Subject Behavior as Applied to Urban Settings
• Knowledge of Subject Abduction Considerations
• What Type of Records Need to be Kept
• Equipment Needs in the Urban Environment

The instructors for the program will be Roger Ramsdell from Thurston County and Stacey Smith formally from Pierce County. Both instructors have extensive mission experience in urban settings and are looking forward to working with you during this session.
