The RV and stokes litter will be on display\, and there will be presentations on emergency preparedness for those interested. There will also be a short memorial ceremony for the victims of 9/11. Feel free to join us for part of the day. <br /></div>

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, September 18th\, the Pierce County SAR Council is hosting a Basic and Intermediate Helicopter Course at the Thun Field (Pierce County Airport) Firestation. Jeff Sharp(TMRU) will be teaching the course. The course will begin at 0800 and tentatively end at 1700. (The schedule is attached.) There will also be a BBQ afterwards\, where you can get to know the other SAR units in Pierce County.
