&lt;div align=&quot;justify&quot;&gt;This Saturday, the 11th, from 1000 to 1500, ESAR will be attending the Gig Harbor/Key Peninsula Emergency Preparedness Fair at Chapel Hill Church in Gig Harbor. (7700 Skansie Ave Gig Harbor, WA 98335-8309)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is a great PR event, and we&#039;ll get the chance to recruit some new members. The RV and stokes litter will be on display, and there will be presentations on emergency preparedness for those interested. There will also be a short memorial ceremony for the victims of 9/11. Feel free to join us for part of the day. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description>

Members of the German Shepherd Search Dogs (GSSD) SAR unit will teach and give a demonstration on K9 search techniques and training, and how we can better work with their unit.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The meeting will be held at Peace Lutheran Church 2106 S Cushman Ave, Tacoma WA.</description>

Saturday, September 18th, the Pierce County SAR Council is hosting a Basic and Intermediate Helicopter Course at the Thun Field (Pierce County Airport) Firestation. Jeff Sharp(TMRU) will be teaching the course. The course will begin at 0800 and tentatively end at 1700. (The schedule is attached.) There will also be a BBQ afterwards, where you can get to know the other SAR units in Pierce County.</description>
